Product description
En Primeur Blanc de Lynch Bages will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Born in 1990, “Blanc de Lynch-Bages” is the result of blending the three traditional white grape varieties of the Bordeaux appellation: Sauvignon (60%), Sémillon (27%) and Muscadelle (13%). planted on some eight parcels of the historical terroir of Lynch-Bages and encompassing a total of 5.5 hectares. As soon as the settling is complete, the juices are put in barrels or their alcoholic fermentation is quickly triggered, with a temperature regulated at 18 ° C thanks to a cooling system built into each drum. Only 25% of the batches follow their vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. The oxidation is limited and the aromatic freshness preserved throughout the breeding. In all, 70% of the wine is aged in barrels, 50% of which is in new barrels. In April, after 6 months of aging, the wine is raised in vats for bottling. Fermentation and aging in barrels, used with precision, give the wine fine woody and vanilla notes that contribute to their aromatic complexity.
En Primeur pricing is per case as specified and excludes UK duty and VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond for delivery. Bonded storage is available. Onward delivery or transfer is not included and can be quoted for on request. Free delivery on orders over £100 does not apply to bonded or en primeur wines.
