In Bond case of Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2016, expected to land in UK in first half of 2019.
“One of my wines of the tasting for pure elegance of fruit, balance and freshness combined with a long fine finish. Excellent. 2022-2040” James Davy.
Rauzan-Segla is a 2éme Cru Classé located in Margaux. Great wines were produced in the 1990s made with a higher proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon as well as new oak in order to create deeper and more generous wine. Today the property is owned by Chanel.
“A solid red with currant and blackberry character. Full body, soft tannins and a flavorful finish. Shows richness and excitement. Juicy and sexy undertone to this. 96-97 points” James Suckling, April 2017.
