About the producer: Loron et Fils
Borned Chénas in 1711 Jean Loron developed his business as a wine grower by vinifying specific ‘climats’ of Beaujolais and Bourgogne. The Loron et Fils estate has then grown steadily over 8 generations of family ownership and now boasts over ninety hectares under vine across Burgundy. The quality and reliability of their wines are internationally renowned, with particular strengths across the Cru of Beaujolais. View our range.
The Loron Et Fils Estate
Their ninety hectares of vines spreads over 7 of the 10 Beaujolais cru. The Loron family owns Domaine des Billards in Saint-Amour, Domaine de la Vieille Eglise in Juliénas, Château de Fleurie in Fleurie, Domaine Barbet at Moulin-à-Vent and Château de la Pierre in Brouilly and Régnié.
Winemaking
In 1998 they created the Cellier de la Vauxonne for red winemaking, a modern ageing warehouse in Beaujolais. Long term contracts with more than 50 winegrowers, agronomical assistance and a meticulous grape selection have made this venture a great success.
