Château Talbot takes its name from John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, who lost the battle of Castillon in 1453 allowing the French to take control of Bordeaux’s vineyards after 340 years of British ownership. It is also perceived as one of the most reliable wine in St-Julien.

Mainly made with Sauvignon and some Sémillon and aged on the lees for eight months. Intense aromas of white peach, citrus fruits and hints of acacia, rose and almond. Medium to full-bodied with a refreshing acidity and a pleasant waxy texture.
