Product description
This 3eme Cru Classe dates back from the 18th century. After difficult times, the property was sold in the 1950s. Since then the quality of the wines produced on the estate has increased and they are today considered as some of the most refined in Margaux.
Aromas of black raspberries, blueberries and cassiswith hints of cedar and licorice. Medium to full-bodied with juicy flavors, sweet tannins and a generous mouthfeel.
Again, this has a distinctive nose, something quite briny suffusing the black, vanillary fruit. Touches of black cherries and briary. The palate is better, good fruit concentration and firm tannins, a little oaky towards the very dry finish. Quite masculine for a Margaux. Rather foursquare and conservative.
