Product description
Château Argadens has been in the hands of the Sichel family, who are also part owners of Château Palmer and a number of other prestige Bordeaux estates. Their aim was to make the wine a benchmark within the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation.
Sourced from a 45 hectares parcel located in Entre-Deux-Mers and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Rich and ripe blackberry aromas with notes of oak. Generous on the palate with dense tannins and a long and spicy finish.

Gorgeous nose, ripe and scented full of dark chocolate and blackcurrants. Smooth and charming, round and balanced with a lovely joyous sweet side to the strawberry and red cherry fruit on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity is there keeping things lively but the ripe, chewy fruit and sticky black liquorice edges takes centre stage with the hint of grip from the tannins just giving the structure underneath. Confident and striking. This is no wallflower but I love its expression. A very well-delivered wine, especially for the price...
