This 25ha Cru Bourgeois has been owned by the Estager family since 1902. After hand-harvesting and traditional fermentation, the blend is assembled: 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, then aged for 18 months in oak barrels (20% new).
A superb parcel of affordable, classified St Estèphe from the mighty 2010 vintage. Merlot dominated and drinking now, this will also age gracefully over the next decade.
