Working alongside organic principle, their goal is to continue the technical improvements in winemaking and vine growing, while retaining the essence of the wine of Graves.

“Fascinating dry white with lavender, lemon-rind and sliced-apple character. Full, very dry and mineral, with chalk and fruit character. Solid and structured. Needs at least four or five years to soften, but what a white. Better in 2017.”94pts James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, January 2014

French dry white wine from Pessac Leognan in Bordeaux France made with Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

About the producer: Château de Fieuzal

Château de Fieuzal is located in Pessac-Léognan within the appellation of Graves. In the 16th century the domain was part of the Gardères estate, which was split in 1851 into Château de Fieuzal, named after the family who owned it, and Château Haut Gardères. In 1995 the two estates were finally reunited to form the current Fieuzal vineyards. Today Brenda and Lochlann Quinn, two Irish wine lovers, own the estate. They have hired Stephen Carrier as winemaker and consult Hubert de Bouärd, owner of Château Angélus. Working alongside organic principle, their goal is to continue the technical improvements in winemaking and vine growing, while retaining the essence of the wine of the region. View our selection.
