Product description
This exquisite wine originates from a distinguished 44-acre estate near the Gironde estuary. It is a blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Nestled 35 kilometers from Bordeaux along the Route des Châteaux in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, the estate is a mere 6 kilometers from Margaux and adjacent to Saint-Julien. The wine undergoes a 12-month maturation in French oak barrels, with one-third of the barrels being replaced annually, yielding a limited production of approximately 8,500 cases.
This wine exudes opulence with its generous notes of ripe black and red berry fruits, harmoniously intertwined with nuances of spice and oak. The palate is intense, displaying a concentrated medley of fruit flavors complemented by refined tannins. Its dark ruby color is accompanied by an aromatic explosion of ripe fruit and exotic spices. On the palate, these flavors persist, offering a sophisticated blend of ripe fruit and spice underscored by a distinct woody elegance.
This wine from a 44-acre estate close to the Gironde estuary is rich in jammy black fruit from the Merlot in the blend. There is plenty of structure as well, giving the wine a chance to age. Drink this attractive wine from 2023.
