About the producer: Château Haut Bages Liberal

Château Haut Bages Liberal is a 5ème Cru Classé located in Pauillac between Château Latour, Pichon Baron and Pichon Lalande. Founded by the Liberal family in the 18th century, it was bought in 1960 by the Cruse family, who also owned Château Pontet-Canet at the time and, who started to replant the vineyards. Today the estate belongs to the Taillan group, who already owned Château Chasse Spleen, and is run by Claire Villars. In recent years the wine of Château Hau-Bages Libéral have gained concentration and are deeper than before. The domaine is also on its way to be certified organic. View our selection.
