Just a few miles of Château Gruaud Larose, Château Lagrange has been producing some fabulous wines since 1983 following an inclusive programme of renovation and investment. The wines are refined, elegant and expressive.
Medium to full bodied with a loverly freshness, this wine has plenty of life ahead and pleasure to give.
There is a sense of exuberance on the nose: black berries, wild strawberry, cedar, a touch of Asian spice coming through. Great lift and intensity. The palate is medium-bodied, ripe black fruits, good structure with a firm, quite masculine finish with just a hint of tobacco and spice. Very good for the vintage. Classy.
