Chateau Musar has been in the Hochar family since 1930. They manage their vines with minimal human interference and were the first producer in Lebanon to achieve organic certification. Most vines are located in the Bekaa Valley, cradled between two mountain ranges running along the Lebanon’s Mediterranean coastline. Vines have been cultivated here for more than 6,000 years and were brought by the Phoenicians, the Lebanese’s ancestors, who used to trade wines from Byblos to the Mediterranean zone. Today Gaston manages the day-to-day running of the winery and his brother Marc its commercial aspects. View our selection.
