Intense blackberry, forest floor and a lovely floral note. Medium bodied, intense and rich. A great value wine that punches well above its weight.
French red wine from Haut-Medoc in Bordeaux France, made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Château Tour Saint Bonnet is situated in the commune of St-Christoly at the far north of the Médoc. This cru Bourgeois has been in the hands of the Lafon family since 1903 and is run today by Jacques Merlet. The 40 hectares of vines lie on a gravelly ridge adjacent to the Gironde and are planted with 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec which have an average age of 35 years. The wines are aged in large oak foudres, rather than small oak casks, for 18 months to preserve the intensity and concentration. View our selection.
