About the producer: Domaine Vieux Télégraphe

Domaine Vieux Télégraphe has been in the Brunier family for 5 generations and is one of the largest and best known estate in the Southern Rhone. The winery sits on the site of a former telegraph station which is where the name derives from. The estate’s vineyards are planted on the Plateau de ‘La Crau’, famous for producing wine with a highly distinctive minerality.  Since the early 1980s, Frédéric and Daniel have been in charge of the estate and are focused on achieving optimum ripeness in order to produce wines that are complex and elegant. In 1998 they also created the winery Massaya in Lebanon. View our selection.

Vineyards and Winemaking

The estate spreads over 242 acres in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape area and 37 acres in Vaucluse and Ventoux and, is planted with an average of 60 years old vines. Their top Cuvée is aged for 20 to 22 months in 60hl oak barrels and requires no filtration.
