This Cuvee was first released in 1988 in homage of Etienne Gonnet who founded the Domaine in the 50’s. It is deep and concentrated and reveals ripe red berry fruits mixed with licorice, bay leaves and spice. This is a fine wine with great ageing potential.
French still red wine from South Rhone Valley France, made with Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.
Font de Michelle is a beautiful 30 hectares of vineyard located in the South East of Chateauneuf du Pape. Created in 1950 by Etienne Gonnet, the estate has always been run by the family. His sons, Jean and Michel, have taken over the destiny of the estate in 1975. For over 30 years they have improved the wine making methods to develop full-bodied wines that are concentrated, refined and reflect their terroir. Today, their respective sons, Bertrand and Guillaume, bestow their enthusiasms and skills. View our selection.
