Product description
En Primeur Chorey-Lès-Beaune Tollot-Beaut will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Based in the somewhat unfashionable appellation of Chorey-Lès-Beaune and now run by the energetic 5th generation Nathalie Tollot, the wines of Domaine Tollot-Beaut are easily recognised by their wonderful purity of fruit and brilliant balance with wonderful spice and generous oak. Bertrand and Martine Ambroise head up a 21-hectare domaine with much of the work now done by their son François and daughter Ludivine. The wines are well-known for their ability to age but François has introduced additional freshness and elegance into the wines without losing any of their traditional depth and concentration. Their wines are usually aged in oak for between 12 and 18 months.
A blend of two plots, this has succulent fruit, with blueberries and plums, alongside a slick, easygoing profile. A lift on the finish that offsets the dark fruit very nicely.
