This Domaine has been run by the same family for more than 160 years and has a long history of very fine wine making. They own 11.50 hectares of vines including substantial holdings in some of the most famous Grand Cru sites in the Côte de Nuits.
The full-bodied bouquet is reminiscent of black fruit, liquorice, spices, with leather hints. On the palate, melted wood slightly dominates aromas of black fruit, truffle, anise and cherry. The intense, powerful and precise tannins of this Grand Cru accompany a long, unctuous finish. DWM, November 2017
