Product description
The vineyards of the Champ des Murailles are on the slopes of Fabrezan. La Petite Muraille Rouge is made from vines aged 25 to 50 years. They are planted at a density of 4500 vines/ha, yielding 40 hl/ha. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with commercial yeasts, undergoing full malolactic fermentation. Partial barrel ageing (up to 8 months maximum) in French oak barrels (225L barriques). Juicy and peppery with plenty of cassis and black cherry flavours. This wine really punches above its weight.
