Product description
Cote Rotie ‘Les Rochins’ Domaine Garon 2016 is available to purchase.
Limited stock available on allocation.
The Garon family have been in the Northern Rhône since the 15th Century, but only began to bottle and sell their own wine in 1995. With 5 hectares in Cote Rotie, their vineyards are divided with some parcels on the Côte Blonde and some of the Côte Brune. Wines are made traditionally, with grapes crushed in whole bunches, vinified in stainless steel and aged on average in 30% new French oak, with the remainder being aged in older oak, according to the vintage.
The ‘Rochins’ is intense with dark fruits, floral, violet notes and minerality; a wine for long ageing.
Offered for sale, in bond. Price shown is per case (6x75cl bottles) and excludes delivery, UK duty and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond. Please note, no further discounts apply to fine wines purchased online in bond. Reward points do not accrue on fine wine IB orders, nor may they be used to purchase fine wines.
