En Primeur Côte-Rôtie ‘Les Triotes’ Domaine Garon is released for sale.
This domaine owns 5 hectares of vines in Côte Rotie. The wines are aged on average in 30% new oak barrels for 18 – 24 months, but exact figures vary from cuvee to cuvee. Les Triotes receives a little less time, 18 – 20 months in up to 25% new barrels.
“(20% whole clusters) Brilliant purple. High-pitched dark berry, floral and spice scents, complicated by subtle smoke and cracked pepper flourishes. Sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering intense blueberry and cherry preserve flavors that deepen on the back half. Shows a spicy quality on the youthfully tannic finish, which hangs on with strong, floral-tinged persistence.”
