Recently acquired by Domaine Pierre Amadieu, former owners, Annne-Marie and Jean-Marie Astart, hand crafted this exceptional wine from old vines and low yields (in some cases as low as 18 hectolitres per hectare, half the average yield in the Rhône). They mainly produce wines under the Cairanne AOC, a Côtes du Rhône Villages that recently gained its cru status joining Châteauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras.
Beautifully fresh, with a lot of wild berry and cherry fruits alongside hints of white pepper and a really long, juicy, mouth-watering finish. A complex rosé full of character.
