    Product description

Located in Mornington Peninsula, the Crittenden family follows sustainable practices to create wines that have achieved world recognition.

The Zumma Pinot possesses a depth of flavour and a finesse that belies its new world origins. Aromas of cherry and berry fruit alongside hints of fresh spice. Medium-bodied on the palate with fine silky tannins, restrained oak and taut acidity which provide the palate with great length and balance.

  • About the producer

    About the producer: Crittenden Estate

Garry Crittenden was the first vintner to see the potential of the Mornington Peninsula. Since his first plantings in 1982, his commitment to the region has seen the Mornington Peninsula flourish to world recognition. Today, his son and daughter have embraced and taken on the family business with Rollo controlling the winemaking and general management and Zoe taking care of all of the marketing.

Following sustainable practices, conventional use of chemicals has been abandoned to make way for an innovative program of inter row cover crops of peas and oats, a composting regime and using recycled water to nurture their land and build soil health. Chemicals are not used on the vines either.
