    Product description

    Our claret is carefully selected and blended by Chairman James Davy alongside Maison Sichel of Bordeaux. Sourced from various plots lying on clay-limestone soil well exposed to the sun. We’ve used beautifully ripe Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and a touch of Malbec from the excellent vintage 2019. 10% of the wine was aged in new oak barrels giving a round and velvety mid palate and soft integrated tannins on the finish.

    Expressive aromas of ripe black and red fruits with hints of exotic spices. Equally charming and fruity, the palate is full, rich and warm, supported by silky tannins, a sign of great maturity of the grapes, with a fine fresh finish. Wine offers a generous and ripe palate. Traces of cedar with red and black fruits and a long smooth finish. A gourmet Bordeaux.

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
