Product description
Our claret is carefully selected and blended by Chairman James Davy alongside Maison Sichel of Bordeaux. Sourced from various plots lying on clay-limestone soil well exposed to the sun. Grapes are machine-harvested with a low yield of 42 hl/ha. Vinification occurs in stainless steel tanks with natural yeast. The wine is matured in the same stainless steel tank, with 15% of the wine aged in new French oak. No fining or filtering is done. Expressive aromas of ripe black and red fruits with hints of exotic spices. Equally charming and fruity, the palate is full, rich and warm, supported by silky tannins, a sign of great maturity of the grapes, with a fine fresh finish.
