The vineyards are located in the Douro Valley, with optimal sun exposure for producing concentrated fruit. The vines are carefully managed to ensure the highest quality grapes. The wine is made using traditional methods, with fermentation interrupted by the addition of aguardente (grape brandy) to fortify it. The wine is then aged in oak casks to develop its rich flavors and complexity. Sweet with aromas of ripe red fruit and floral notes, the wine is full-bodied with firm tannins.
