Product description
En Primeur Chablis William Fevre 1er Cru Montmains will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
William Fèvre founded his domain in Chablis with 7 hectares of vines in 1959 and devoted immense efforts to extending and improving the Estate, while promoting the Chablis appellation. Today, William Fèvre is one of the most established and recognised landowners of the appellation with 78 hectares, of which 15.9 are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grands Crus. The acquisition of the Estate by Maisons & Domaines Henriot in 1998 has strengthened that path. Each of the William Fèvre wines are a direct expression of the singular nature of these Chablis terroirs, known and renowned for their purity and mineral freshness.
Exotic on the nose – quince and a hint of pineapple. Loads of texture on the ripe palate with broad, ripe fruit and a peppery note. Retains a sense of brightness and purity despite the breadth of the wine across the palate.
