En Primeur Chablis William Fevre 1er Cru Vaillons will be available to purchase on Monday 7th January 2019.
William Fèvre made his first vintage in 1959, and subsequently his name as one of Chablis’ greats over the following 3 decades. The man himself retired in 1988, when the Domaine was purchased by Champagne Joseph Henriot. In the last couple of decades there has been a move to use of older oak barrels and more subtle, integrated élevage. The Domaine consists of 12 hectares of premier cru vineyards and an enormous 16 hectares of grand crus. The 2015 harvest began in early September, helping to retain a balance between acidity and richness.
Offered for sale ‘En Primeur’, in bond. Price shown is per case (6x75cl bottles) and excludes UK duty and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine lands in the UK.
