Product description
En Primeur Chablis William Fevre Grand Cru Bougros will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
William Fèvre founded his domain in Chablis with 7 hectares of vines in 1959 and devoted immense efforts to extending and improving the Estate, while promoting the Chablis appellation. Today, William Fèvre is one of the most established and recognised landowners of the appellation with 78 hectares, of which 15.9 are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grands Crus. The acquisition of the Estate by Maisons & Domaines Henriot in 1998 has strengthened that path. Each of the William Fèvre wines are a direct expression of the singular nature of these Chablis terroirs, known and renowned for their purity and mineral freshness.
This Climat lies at the very western end of the Grands Crus area, at altitudes ranging from 130 to 170 m on fairly deep marl and clay terrain with a southwest exposure. On the palate, this appellation’s wines are often very full and rich. Rich bouquet with intense mineral notes. Full and round, yet firm and massive on the palate.
