En Primeur Chateau Bonalgue 2017 is released. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for information on the En Primeur release of Chateau Bonalgue 2017.
Château Bonalgue was founded by a veteran of Napoleon’s Grand Army, Captain Rabion, who inherited the land and built the castle. In 1926 the Bourotte family acquired the property and today Jean-Baptiste, the third generation, is in charge of the estate. The vineyard today is in excellent condition, and the property continues to improve its winemaking methods.
“Chocolate and damson fruit with some Pomerol polish. An accomplished wine, and although the oak influence is clear it works because this is delivered in a fruit-forward package, not trying too hard to convince you of anything other than its medium-term appeal.” Jane Anson, Decanter.com – 88 pts, 2023-2033.
Offered for sale ‘En Primeur’, in bond. Price shown is per case (12x75cl bottles) and excludes UK duty and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine lands in the UK.
