Founded by Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild in 1853, who purchased the estate previously known as Château Brane-Mouton. The quality of the wine produced a decade before fell, which cost Mouton Rothschild to be classified as a first growth in 1855. This was restored in 1973 under Baron Phillipe de Rothschild.
Offered for sale ‘En Primeur’ under bond. Price shown is per case (6x75cl bottles) and excludes UK duty and VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond.
