Product description
En Primeur Château Rauzan-Ségla, 2ème Grand Cru Classé Margaux, will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Château Rauzan-Segla Rauzan Segla is now established as a ‘Super Second’ and amongst the best properties in Margaux. Historically considered one of the finest second growths of the left bank, the wines were a favourite of Thomas Jefferson in the late 18th Century. Vineyards are across typical Margaux deep gravel and the wines are textbook examples of the appellation. The modern era began here with the Chanel takeover in 1994, with wide ranging and extensive investment in the vineyards and cellars and John Kolasa brought in from Chateau Latour to oversee winemaking. Following a transitionary period in 2014, the estate is now overseen (alongside Ch. Canon and Ch. Berliquet) by Nicolas Audebert, who is successfully continuing the excellent work of his predecessor.
