Product description
En Primeur Cote Rotie Landonne Rostaing will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Rene Rostaing has owned 2 hectares in Côte Rotie since the 1970s, but in later years has inherited more, now owning a substantial 7.4 hectares. He destems his fruit and ages the young wines in no more than 15% new oak, without filtration. One of the great names of Côte Rotie, the wines are always highly sought after.
Complex array of dark fruit preserve, floral, spice and savory herb qualities alongside a smoky mineral note gains volume as the wine opens up. Shows excellent clarity and spicy lift to the concentrated flavours. Blends depth and energy with asure hand and shows impressive energy and mineral thrust on a very long, youthfully tannic finish.
Further information on En Primeur Rhône will be available soon. For more details please contact privatecellars@davy.co.uk.
En Primeur pricing is per case as specified and excludes UK duty and VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond for delivery. Bonded storage is available. Onward delivery or transfer is not included and can be quoted for on request. Free delivery on orders over £100 does not apply to bonded or en primeur wines.
