    Product description

En Primeur Dame de Montrose, Saint-Estèphe, will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.

Renowned for producing some of the most complex and long-lived wines in the appellation, Ch. Montrose produces wines at a quality level that has the First Growths looking nervously over their shoulders. In 2006 the estate was bought by Martin and Olivier Bouygues, owners of a huge construction firm in France. A large renovation project followed the takeover, including great efforts to make the operation as environmentally friendly as possible. The 95 hectares of vineyards are located on hillside gravel deposits, with proximity to the Gironde allowing the vines to benefit from a propitious microclimate. 60% of the vines are Cabernet Sauvignon, with the remainder made up of Merlot (32%), Cabernet Franc (6%) and Petit Verdot (2%).

Further information on En Primeur Bordeaux will be available soon. For more details please contact privatecellars@davy.co.uk.

En Primeur pricing is per case as specified and excludes UK duty and VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond for delivery. Bonded storage is available. Onward delivery or transfer is not included and can be quoted for on request. Free delivery on orders over £100 does not apply to bonded or en primeur wines.
