En Primeur Gigondas Domaine du Cayron will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
Michel Faraud has handed over the running of this domaine to his 3 daughters, Delphine, Sandrine and Rosaline. They produce one of the benchmark wines of the appellation, rich and with a great lifespan. Yields from the 40-year-old vines are kept very low – just 30 hl/ha. The wines are unfined and unfiltered, simply resting for a year in large wooden casks.
Bouquet of black cherry, black currant and blackberry, garrigue, pepper, basil and lots of freshness. Rich and hearty mouthfeel with notes of red fruits and aromatic herbs. A mineral-rich and elegant wine with notes of truffles and flowers showing a gorgeously long finish.

En Primeur pricing is per case as specified and excludes UK duty and VAT, which will be charged at the prevailing rate when the wine is released from bond for delivery. Bonded storage is available. Onward delivery or transfer is not included and can be quoted for on request. Free delivery on orders over £100 does not apply to bonded or en primeur wines.
