En Primeur St Joseph Blanc Garon will be available for delivery or storage once it lands in the UK, usually two years following the en primeur offer.
The Garons and their two sons own over seven hectares of vines in Côte Rôtie, in the very north of the Rhône Valley and work plot by plot to produce mainly traditional wine including four Cote Rotie and a Vin de Pays Syrah. They also produce a a Condrieu and a Côtes du Rhône as a merchant under the label Famille Garon.
Buttered apple, orange blossom, honeysuckle, and toasty, spicy notes all characterize this wine which has a beautiful richness and depth on the palate. Give this medium to full-bodied white another year or two of bottle age and it should evolve nicely going forward.
