    Biodynamic since 1997, Rossignol Trapet is a domaine which has earned a great deal of respect in growing years. Brothers Nicholas and David keep raising the bar for sensational wine making and the biggest problem we ever have is getting enough wines from them at every level. The secret is very much out here so grab them while you can.

    The Petite Chapelle is located next to the Grand Cru named “Grande Chapelle”. Rossignol Trapet owns 52 acres of this specific vineyard. Powerful and complex Gevrey Chambertin with rich aromas of griottes and raspberries. Smooth texture with fine tannins and a great length.

Following the union of Jacques Rossignol with Mado Trapet in the 1960s, Domaine Rossignol Trapet was founded in 1990.     Vineyard & Winemaking

    They own vineyards in Beaune, Savigny-les Beaune, and Gevrey-Chambertin. They age their wine in oak barrel using 10% new oak for Beaune ‘les Teurons’, up to 30% for Premier Cru Gevrey-Chambertin, 50 per cent for the Grands Crus.

    Wines Produced

    Gevrey Chambertin (plus 5 Premier Cru and 3 Grand Cru), Savigny les Beaune, Beaune Village, Beaune 1er Cru ‘Les Teurons’, Chapelle-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin and Chambertin .

    Returns

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
