Product description
Charming aromas of red cherry, raspberry and blackberry with an underlying hints of dried rose petal. Impressive structure and weight (as you would expect from Gevrey-Chambertin) on the mid-palate balanced by ripe, velvety tannins that wrap around a core of further red and black hedgerow fruits and gentle black pepper spice.
Sourced from 40-year-old vines and aged for 18 months ageing in oak barrels (50% new). Aromas of red berry fruits with hints of tasted oak and sweet spice. Medium to full-bodied, and rich for a Pinot Noir, with soft tannins and a good concentration of fruits.
