A raucous, full bodied effort with lashings of pepper, cigar box, dark cherry and bramble fruit. This blockbuster is the stunning result of winemakers Francois Dauvergne and Jean-Francois Ranvier’s vast combined knowledge. A perfect accompaniment to rustic fare such as game and cassoulets.
French still red wine from South Rhone Valley France, made with Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvedre and Syrah.
Francois Dauvergne and Jean-Francois Ranvier work in partnership with many wine growing families in the Rhône Valley, allowing their business and technical expertise to add value which benefits all parties. Francois has had many years experience managing some of the big Rhone houses and Jean Francois is a consultant oenologist so this is a ‘win win’ from every ones point of view. Jean Francois is also something of an amateur geologist, perhaps his influence is responsible for the strong local identity these wines display. View our range.
To work with them, each partner must have well positioned vineyards, agree to reduce yields, and to accept the high standards of vineyard and cellar management set by the ‘DR’ Partnership. The results speak for themselves.
