This winery located in the Uco Valley in Mendoza was bought by Patricio Gouguenheim in 2002 and has now become one of the best top quality wineries in Argentina.
Made with the ‘Charmat’ method, Gouguenheim Sparkling Rosé has delicate red fruit aromas of cherries and strawberries. Very fresh on the palate with good acidity and fine bubbles.
“A delightful Malbec sparkler, full of strawberry and red cherry aromas. Crisp palate and juicy, bright fruit flavours, and a lovely persistence of tiny bubbles on the finish. The ideal complement to canapés and fresh salads, but also fantastic on its own. Drinking Window 2017 – 2018.” – 89 pts Christelle Guibert, Decanter magazine May 2017
Argentine sparkling rosé wine from Mendoza Argentina, made with Malbec.
In 2002 Patricio Gouguenheim bought this old winery located in the Uco Valley, 70 km away from Mendoza. It had nearly 100 acres of vineyards and a lot of small tanks ideal for the production of high quality wines. The vines are irrigated with melt water from the Andes and produce aromatic and delicate wines due to the large ‘diurnal’ temperature, offering an abundance of bright sunshine and heat during the day and cool temperature at night. Gouguenheim winery has now become one of the best performing/top quality wineries in Argentina. View our selection.
