Kumeu River has earned its fame producing classic chardonnays using Burgundian winemaking methods which includes extended lees ageing and malo-lactic fermentation.
Coddington is one of the richer styles made by Kumeu. Crisp aromas of bitter mandarin and other citrus fruits with smoky notes and hints of fig in background. Medium to full-bodied on the palate with a creamy texture and a crisp acidity.
