Product description
Domaine Langlois-Chateau is a fantastic producer from Saumur in the Loire Valley who specialise in creating wine from two unique grape varieties – Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc. Now owned by the Champagne house, Bollinger, it’s no surprise their wines exude elegance and class.
Their vieilles vignes is the perfect definition of a Chenin Blanc made with vines over 35 years old. The nose is full of butter mixed with apple and oaky aromas and a hint of minerality. Round and creamy on the palate it is well balanced with a good acidity that retains the freshness. Lots of baked apple and nutty flavours and a good length.
