    Owned by Jean-Michel Cazes, who also run prestigious Château Lynch-Bages, the estate is one of St-Estèphe’s leading Cru Bourgeois. The wines are known to be  powerful with a smooth texture and the distinctive character of Saint-Estèphe.

    Les Ormes de Pez is full bodied and rich with black berry fruits, oaky flavours and smooth tannins.

    About the producer: Château Ormes de Pez

    Château Ormes de Pez is one of St-Estèphe’s leading Cru Bourgeois. It was bought by Jean-Charles Cazes in 1936 from Château Lynch-Bages and is today under the care of Jean-Michel Cazes who redeveloped and modernised the cellar in the early 80’s and, helped preserving the vineyard’s genetic heritage. The wines are powerful with a smooth texture and the distinctive elegance of Saint-Estèphe. View our selection.

    The 35 hectares of vineyard is planted with 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot with an average age of 35 years old vine. The wines are aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, 45% of which are new.

    SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. For further details please contact customer services 020 8858 6011.

    CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.

    TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
