Product description
The vineyards are situated on calcareous slopes in the Marsannay appellation, the northernmost of the Côte de Nuits, Burgundy. After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo a 20-day maceration in concrete vats at controlled temperatures to extract color and flavor. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 to 16 months, with 30% new oak. Aromas of ripe black cherry, blackcurrant, and subtle hints of spice and minerality. On the palate, offers a velvety texture that envelops the fruit flavours. The wine is well-structured, with balanced acidity and tannins.
