Meerlust Estate is one of the most respected estates in Stellenbosch and has been owned by the Myburgh family for over 250 years. All their wines are made from grapes grown on the Estate.
Matured for 11 months in French oak barrel, 50% of which is new. Complex nose of pear, citrus and floral notes with hints of citrus fruits and marzipan. Medium bodied and balanced with a crisp acidity and fresh on the finish with stony minerality.

The 10.50 hectares of vineyards are planted on various soil and a further 33 hectares are suitable for vines. The richest clay soils are planted with Merlot while Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are planted on well-drained, warmer, predominantly granite gravel soils. Chardonnay is planted in well drained alluvial soils.

SALE OR RETURN is available by prior arrangement only and for orders of 96 bottles or more. All returns are at the customer’s expense. Returns must be made within 28 days of original delivery and goods must be in a resalable condition. We reserve the right to only refund up to 25% of the original order. CANCELLATIONS can be made within seven working days from receipt of delivery, provided that all wines are unopened and in their original condition. To cancel an order customers should contact the Customer Service team on 020 8858 6011 or email orders@davy.co.uk. It is your responsibility to keep the wines safe and in their original condition until collection is made.
TASTING CANCELLATIONS – full refunds can only be made where at least 7 days’ notice is given prior to the event date. Refunds will only be given after this time if we are able to re-sell your tickets. In the event that a tasting is cancelled, Davy’s shall offer customers a full refund.
