This domaine achieved widespread recognition in the 60s under the direction of the charismatic Bernard Michelot and his spirit and tradition flourishes and grows in the hands of the current generation. They focus on producing wine with a crystalline purity of fruit that display the finest characteristics of Meursault.
One of highest-regarded 1er cru in Meursault, alongside Les Charmes and Les Perrières, for its extremely stony soils and south east exposition. Aromas of toast and spices. A complex Meursault with intense and fresh flavours of stone fruits on the palate, a buttery texture and hints of citrus. – DWM, November 2017
