Product description
Patrick Javillier’s wine always receive great reviews from critics. Long ageing on the lees and blend of different climats with complimenting characteristics are key to produce rich wines with a lot of character.
The “Tillets”, named after a tree found around the vineyards, is located above the hillside of Meursault. Blend from 6 parcels, the wine is aged for a year in barrel before being matured further in tank on its fine lees. Aromas of white flowers, citrus and peach and a slight spicy note. Complex, full-bodied yet very elegant with mineral notes and fine aromatic freshness.
Awards

The 2014 Meursault Les Tillets has a very perfumed nose with lime flower, citrus fruit and cold limestone scents that possess more vigour that Javillier's other 2014s. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a citric thread of acidity. Plenty of energy here, quite linear at the moment, but there is commendable precision on the malic finish that leaves the mouth fresh and wanting more.
