About the producer: Domaine Michelot
Domaine Michelot is one of the rare finest estate in Burgundy to produce both quality and quantity. The domaine achieved widespread recognition in the 60s under the direction of the charismatic Bernard Michelot and his spirit and tradition flourishes and grows in the hands of the current generation. Bernard Michelot’s son-in-law, Jean-Francois Mestre has been in charge since 1993 of both vines and winemaking and has done a terrific job. He has worked wonders in the vineyards, believing that good wine can come only from perfect fruit and he is meticulous in the cellar too. Today, Jean Francois’s son Nicolas increasingly drives the winemaking with a focus on crystalline purity of fruit and expression of terroir. Their wines are simply delicious and display the finest characteristics of Meursault. View our selection.
