Owner Riccardo Lepri took over the estate after his grandfather Enos in 2001. Alongside winemaker Fabrizio Moltard, they selected the most suited grapes for the land. Following an organic approach they make delicate wines with concentrated flavours that started to generate interest amongst critics.
30% of the wine is aged in large wooden barrel for about 10 months. Aromas of cherry fruits with hints of violet and tobacco. Medium bodied with a firm acidity and a good tannic structure.
