Owner Riccardo Lepri took over the estate after his grandfather Enos in 2001. Alongside winemaker Fabrizio Moltard, they decided to focus on producing mainly white wines, unusual for Tuscany’s up and coming Maremma region. Following an organic approach they make wines with concentrated flavours that started to generate interest amongst critics.
Enos is their top cuvée and sourced from at least 35 years old vines. Fine and intense aromas of fresh citrus peel, white pulp fruits, aromatic herbs and a delicate floral bouquet. This is a dry fresh wine with a delicate body perfectly balanced. Long with complexity it can age for a few years. Received 16pts from Jancis Robinson at our fine wine tasting in November 2018.
