Product description
Vines are is grown in volcanic tuff and clay soil near the coast, benefiting from cooling ocean breezes. The grapes come from 15-year-old vines in inland Maremma and are hand-harvested during the early morning hours for freshness. Before pressing, the grapes are stored overnight at low temperature to enhance aroma extraction and prevent oxidation. They are then gently crushed and destemmed, with brief skin contact for a few hours. Fermentation follows over 14 days at 12°C. Intense nose of red berry fruits and hints of rose petal. Delicate and refreshing on the palate, with a bright finish of summer fruits.
